Will It Be Messy?
Depending on the condition of the area to be cleaned, pressure washing can create a bit of mess during the clean. What we tell customers is to trust the process. We will always ensure everywhere is thoroughly rinsed down following the clean to ensure you're left with a fresh looking exterior. Will high pressure damage my exterior surfaces?
Inexperienced contractors could damage your external surfaces with using too much pressure. Dirt Lush however have years of experience and know how much pressure is enough to get the right results. Dirt Lush are skilled in knowing how to combine adequate pressure with suitable chemical application to get your home looking great.
What equipment do you use?
We have a variety of high power pressure cleaners and soft wash equipment. We can reach areas many households can't access with pole reach systems to clean gutters, fascia's, wall washing etc. We have smaller powerful machines if we need to bring equipment through your house & larger machines for bigger jobs/commercial cleaning. We are City & Guilds Assured and Pureseal Approved Applicators meaning we understand how to clean your exteriors safely and effectively

Will chemical cleaning damage my plants?
If used incorrectly, then there is a possibility of cleaning chemicals used during the cleaning process damaging grass and plants. Dirt Lush are trained and experienced in the effective use of cleaning chemicals, knowledgeable about what chemicals to use on what surfaces, how much is required and where to use them to maintain a safe environment without causing damage to your garden. Are chemicals safe if I have children and pets?
All cleaning chemicals should be applied by experienced professionals. Dirt Lush are Pureseal approved and City & Guilds accredited. We will advise on all safety aspects during the clean itself and also if there is any period post clean to avoid areas until completely safe. In most cases, once the clean is complete, the area will be safe to use but in certain circumstances such as use of biocides, we would advise and agree with customers beforehand to reduce any risk to customers and pets.
Will cleaning my walls damage the render?
Dirt Lush use a process called soft washing to clean many types of render, cement finish and brick work. This ensures the surfaces are cleaned with appropriate chemicals and not at risk of being damaged by excessive force of power washing.
